What should I send with an inquiry?
A photograph, sketch, old piece, size problem, written idea, or a mix of those is enough to start. The inquiry is the place to explain what you want the finished piece to feel or do.
Can an old piece become something new?
Yes, an old piece can be the starting point for a remodel. Send photos and describe what you want to change. Yao will evaluate whether its metal or stones can be reused before you ship anything.
Where does CAD fit in?
CAD is the 3D design software Yao uses to plan the shape, fit, and construction before making the jewelry. A CAD file is a design, not finished jewelry. You can also discuss a CAD-only order if you just need the design files.
Who will I speak with about the project?
You speak directly with Yao, the goldsmith behind Cast House, rather than a separate sales desk or production department.
Will my reference or project be shared publicly?
Not without your permission. Your references, design files, personal story, and finished work stay private unless you agree to share them.
